This kit includes all the materials and some extras ;-) to make your own cyanotypes on paper at home or give them as a gift to a friend or loved one! Cyanotype is a unique process that uses the sun to develop your prints and is always blue! Think of a blueprint; cyanotype is one of the first ways photo negatives were developed. Similar to a copy machine, your image is made by placing objects directly onto the surface this light-sensitive material. Plants you find outside are a wonderful choice but any thin interesting material or photo negative can be placed on for your fun experimental art print! Appropriate and encouraged for all ages from child to adult!!! Frame your finished piece or add paint, collage, and/or illustration on it to create a mixed media artwork :-) This kit includes all instructions and is made for beginners, but experienced artists will enjoy it as the result can be as creative as you can imagine!
